With the June 21 release date of Monsters University right around the corner (and the MU event Julie attended last week at Pixar Animation Studios), we hope you’re ready for a lot of amazing artwork, news, merchandise and more about the upcoming film. Today is no exception as Disney just released a load of beautiful concept art related to the movie – enjoy the lot below (we love all the art, but it was really neat to see the fraternity and sorority houses in more detail).
See, I knew we had the smartest readers around – in the comments below, one of our readers (Randy) noted that the Roar Omega Roar house looks a lot like the Nathan G. Moore house (also known as the Moore-Dugal residence) by the renowned architect Frank Llyod Wright – it certainly has a striking resemblance!
Be sure to click any photo to enlarge it – there is an amazing amount of detail that fans of artwork really need to explore. You can really get a sense of the artist’s style and methods by really zooming in and examining their lines, strokes, and much more! Wow!

If you like this, then be sure to order your copy of The Art of Monsters University before it comes out in June.
Wow, Randy – you are spot on for sure! We updated our post with a comparison photo so our other readers could explore this similarity as well. Thank you for such a great comment! 🙂
