Today has been a day that we’ve been anxiously awaiting — the day of the 85th Annual Academy Awards. This past year has been an incredible year for animation with so many great films and studios being recognized by the Academy that you knew the race for Oscar gold was going to be a close one!
The end of that race resulted in Pixar being honored with Best Animated Feature Film for Brave.
Accepting the award were Directors Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman who gave heart-filled thank you’s to their families and the Brave crew. Below is a video from the backstage Oscar Press Room, which features a congratulatory Q&A with Andrews and Chapman after their Oscar win.
