It’s hard to believe it has only been 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which granted (most) women across America the right to vote. It wasn’t until the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 that allowed everyone regardless of race or gender vote in America.
In honor of this landmark anniversary, Pixar’s internal communities, thePalette (people of color) and PixPride (LGBTQ) have collaborated to reflect, celebrate, and share stories of their personal connection to voting. Watch the video embedded below or directly on Pixar’s official YouTube channel.
