Take a Look at the “Real-Life” Version of Guinevere, The Van From Pixar’s ‘Onward’ — Details Galore!

Pixar brings a real-life version of Guinevere to the D23 Expo show floor. Check out all the fantastic details!

The 2019 D23 Expo has officially begun, and as the doors opened to the show floor guests were greeted with incredible panels, discussions, shopping, and of course, unique photo opportunities. Now, the best photo opportunity (in our opinion) lies within the Pixar Animation Studios booth, there you will be able to take a peek at a “real-life” version of Guinevere, the van from Pixar’s upcoming film, Onward in theaters March 6, 2020.

If you recall, back on June 18 a Disney employee accidentally shared a photo of Guinevere as it sat on the Disney lot. Since that first un-official peek, Pixarian Jay Ward and his team have made all the finishing touches and Guinevere looks 100% film accurate.

Thanks to our friends PaulinaMarco and PixarFreak1 we can see an up-close look at the real-life version of Guinevere straight from the D23 Expo floor (as shown below). We should note, that if you take a photo with Guinevere and use the hashtag #PixarOnward you will be given a free Guinevere pin, though we are unsure how many are distributed each day.

Set in a suburban fantasy world, Pixar’s Onward introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there. “At Pixar, we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth,” said Dan Scanlon (Director). “This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother.”
