Michael Giacchino has officially signed on to provide the score for the June 21, 2019 release of The Incredibles 2. Brad Bird (Writer/Director) tweeted a short video showing Michael signing the contract and solidifying what was most likely assumed by fans already — who else would Brad work with on The Incredibles follow-up?
As noted by Collider in September, Brad Bird briefly chatted about the superhero sequel and stated, “I have the story arc. I’m probably three-quarters through the script, first pass through the script, but we’re already boarding parts of it. I’ve got a lot of people that worked on the first one working on it, so we’re all having a good time with it.“
